Dave has a diverse background in architecture, sustainability, and energy efficiency. With experience spanning commercial, healthcare, and residential projects, David began his career as a designer and project manager on multiple LEED-certified buildings. After completing his Master’s in Sustainable Development, Dave transitioned into the energy sector, serving as Program Manager for Xcel Energy’s Colorado Home Energy Audit and Home Performance Program, as well as managing key initiatives such as Boulder County’s EnergySmart Service and the Denver Energy Challenge from 2010 to 2014. Since 2014, David has shifted his focus to local investment and entrepreneurship, contributing to the development of several notable businesses in the Boulder-Denver area. Dave also is an active volunteer with Switch Colorado and Go Electric Colorado to promote electrification solutions and community education. When he’s not working, you’ll find Dave enjoying outdoor adventures with his family, including mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, and taking cross-country EV road trips.
